The cheapest forex prop firm challenges we track start at $15 for a $5,000 account: AquaFunded’s 2-Step Pro with code AUTUMN and Maven’s Omo 2-Step with code OMO both cost $15. If you just want the lowest ticket, Maven Omo $2,000 costs $9. At $50,000, Blue Guardian’s 2-Step Nano is the cheapest at $95 with code INSIDE.
Cheap prop firms aren’t automatically good value, though. The lowest prices usually come with a catch: a consistency rule, a payout cap or a drawdown that trails your profits. Below we rank every forex and CFD evaluation from the seven firms we list by price after code, then show exactly what each low price costs you in rules. Trading futures instead? See our cheapest futures prop firm ranking.

- Cheapest at $5,000: AquaFunded 2-Step Pro and Maven Omo, both $15 after their codes.
- Cheapest at $50,000 and $100,000: Blue Guardian 2-Step Nano at $95 and $179 (code INSIDE).
- Best drawdown per dollar: Blue Guardian 2-Step Nano and AquaFunded 2-Step Pro both give 10% max drawdown for about $19–$21 per $1K of room.
- The catch: most of the cheapest plans add a 50% consistency rule or a payout cap once you’re funded.
Cheapest Forex Prop Firm Challenge by Account Size
This is the lowest price each firm charges for an evaluation at each size, after the current discount code. Instant-funding and pay-later plans are left out here and covered further down. BrightFunded prices in euros, so its column isn’t directly comparable.
| Firm (code) | $5K | $10K | $25K | $50K | $100K |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AquaFunded AUTUMN | $15 (2-Step Pro) | $29 (2-Step Pro) | $53 (2-Step Pro) | $107 (2-Step Pro) | $209 (2-Step Pro) |
| Blue Guardian INSIDE | $20 (1-Step Nano) | $29 (1-Step Nano) | $50 (2-Step Nano) | $95 (2-Step Nano) | $179 (2-Step Nano) |
| Maven Trading OMO | $15 (Omo) | $37 (1-Step Standard) | — | $143 (Omo) | $284 (Omo) |
| E8 Markets INSIDE | $20 (E8 Pro) | $42 (E8 Pro) | $84 (E8 Signature) | $112 (E8 Signature) | $196 (E8 Signature) |
| Tradeify FX INSIDE | $35 (Classic) | $56 (Daily) | $94 (Daily) | $157 (Daily) | $270 (Daily) |
| FundedNext INSIDE | $31 (Stellar Lite) | $56 (Stellar Lite) | $131 (Stellar Lite) | $214 (Stellar Lite) | $372 (Stellar Lite) |
| BrightFunded RALLY30 | €34 (1-Step) | €65 (2-Step Bright) | €138 (1-Step) | €208 (1-Step) | €348 (1-Step) |
Three firms win most sizes: AquaFunded and Maven Trading at $5,000, Blue Guardian from $25,000 upward (2-Step Nano, $50 at $25,000), and E8 Markets is close behind with the Signature plan ($112 at $50,000, $196 at $100,000). FundedNext is the most expensive, mainly because its code is only 7% off. Its fee is refundable with your first reward, though, so the real cost is lower if you pass.
Maven’s code OMO only discounts the Omo 2-Step; its other plans are sold at list price. We also leave out Maven’s Buy Now Pay Later plan: as the name says, you pay part of the cost later, so its small entry price isn’t a fair comparison. Check Maven’s site for the full cost.
What a Cheap Prop Firm Challenge Gets You at $50K
$50,000 is the most popular size, so here are the cheapest $50,000 evaluations side by side. “Cost per $1K DD” divides the price by the max drawdown in dollars: it shows how much room to be wrong you buy for your money. Lower is better.
| Plan | With code | Regular | Targets | Max drawdown | Cost per $1K DD | Payouts | Split |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Guardian 2-Step Nano | $95 | $127 | 8% / 5% | 10% Static | $19 | 14 days | 80% |
| AquaFunded 2-Step Pro | $107 | $143 | 10% / 5% | 10% Trailing | $21 | Biweekly | 90% |
| E8 Markets Signature | $112 | $160 | 6% | 4% EOD | $56 | On demand | 80% |
| Blue Guardian 1-Step Nano | $120 | $160 | 10% | 6% Trailing | $40 | 7 days | 85% |
| Maven Trading Omo | $143 | $238 | 6% / 8% | 8% Static | $36 | 10 business days | 80% |
| E8 Markets Pro | $153 | $218 | 6% | 6% Static | $51 | On demand | 80% |
| Tradeify FX Daily | $157 | $249 | 10% | 5% EOD | $63 | Daily | 80% |
| AquaFunded 2-Step Elite | $166 | $221 | 8% / 5% | 10% Static | $33 | Biweekly | 90% |
| Blue Guardian 2-Step Standard | $174 | $232 | 8% / 4% | 8% Static | $44 | 14 days | 85% |
What stands out:
- Blue Guardian 2-Step Nano is the cheapest $50,000 account and gives a 10% static drawdown, the best value per dollar in this list.
- AquaFunded 2-Step Pro also has 10% of room, but it trails your profit rather than staying fixed, and it pays a 90% split.
- E8 Signature needs only 6% to pass in one step with no daily loss limit, but its 4% end-of-day drawdown is the tightest here.
- AquaFunded 2-Step Elite costs more ($166) but has a 10% static drawdown and no consistency rule once funded.

The Catch: Why Cheap Prop Firm Plans Are Cheap
Firms price their cheapest plans low because the rules make payouts harder or smaller. Check these before you buy the lowest number in the table.
Consistency rules
Blue Guardian’s Nano plans carry a 50% consistency rule (1-Step Nano in both the challenge and funded stage, 2-Step Nano once funded). AquaFunded’s 2-Step Pro has a 50% rule once funded, while its 2-Step Elite and Standard have none. E8 Signature uses a 35% rule when funded. If one big day usually makes your month, read our prop firm consistency rule guide before choosing.
Payout caps and limits
- Blue Guardian 2-Step Nano: payouts are capped at 2% of the account per cycle, every 14 days, and every payout has a 3% processing fee.
- Maven Omo: the first payout is capped at 6% of the starting balance and the second at 8%. A 2% drawdown triggers Maven’s account saver, which closes trades and drops the split to 50% for good.
- E8 Pro: only 2% of profit per day counts toward the 6% target, and each payout is split 50/50 between you and a drawdown buffer.
- E8 Signature: no overnight or weekend holding, so swing traders should look elsewhere.
Trailing vs static drawdown
A static drawdown stays fixed at your starting balance; a trailing one moves up as you make money, so a profitable week followed by a pullback can still fail you. AquaFunded 2-Step Pro and Blue Guardian’s 1-Step plans trail. Blue Guardian 2-Step Nano, AquaFunded Elite and Maven Omo are static.
Our Picks: Cheap Prop Firms Worth Buying
Blue Guardian — 2-Step Nano costs $50 at $25,000, $95 at $50,000 and $179 at $100,000 with code INSIDE, with a 10% static drawdown and news trading allowed in the challenge. Trade-off: a 50% consistency rule and a 2% payout cap per cycle once funded, plus a 3% payout fee.
AquaFunded — 2-Step Pro starts at $15 ($5,000) and Elite at $19, both with a 90% split, MT5, cTrader, Match Trader and TradeLocker, and a refundable fee under the current AUTUMN offer. Trade-off: Pro’s drawdown trails and it has a 50% consistency rule when funded; on funded accounts, open trades are usually closed at a 2% loss.
E8 Markets — E8 Signature costs $112 at $50,000 with code INSIDE, needs 6% to pass, has no daily loss limit and pays on demand. E8 Pro is cheaper at small sizes ($20 at $5,000). Trade-off: Signature’s drawdown is tight, it can’t hold over the weekend, and it has a 35% consistency rule once funded.
Cheapest Instant Funding Forex Accounts
Skipping the evaluation costs more for the same account size. The lowest entry tickets we track are Maven Instant $2,000 at $15 (list price, 3% trailing drawdown) and AquaFunded Instant Standard $2,500 at $23 with code AUTUMN (5% trailing). Both come with consistency rules and limits on floating loss, so read the rules first. Our full instant funding prop firms guide compares every option.
Cheap Prop Firms With MT5 (and Other Platforms)
Every firm on this list offers MetaTrader 5, so you don’t have to pay more to keep MT5. The differences are the extra platforms and how long the firm has been running:
| Firm | Platforms | Founded |
|---|---|---|
| AquaFunded | MT5, cTrader, Match Trader, TradeLocker | 2023 |
| Blue Guardian | MT5, Match Trader, TradeLocker | 2021 |
| Maven Trading | MT5, Match Trader | 2022 |

FundedNext is the only one that also offers MT4. Tradeify FX is the newest (founded 2026) and runs on MT5 only. Browse all forex prop firms for full profiles.
Are Cheap Prop Firms Legit?
A low price doesn’t make a firm unsafe, and a high one doesn’t make it safe. Every firm here sells evaluations, and you only earn when you pass and follow the funded rules. Before you buy, check three things: how long the firm has paid traders, the payout rules for your exact plan, and whether the fee is refunded. AquaFunded refunds the challenge fee, FundedNext refunds it with your first reward on qualifying plans, and Maven refunds it on your third withdrawal.
Always read the rules on the firm’s own site, for example AquaFunded and Blue Guardian, since terms change. Trading forex and CFDs on leverage is high-risk, and most traders don’t pass on their first attempt.
