At $50K, Maven Trading is the better pick if you want the lowest entry price: its Omo 2-Step costs $143 with code OMO, about $31 less than Blue Guardian’s 2-Step Standard at $174. Blue Guardian is the better pick if you care about what happens after you pass: a higher 85% split, no monthly withdrawal limit, EAs allowed and three platforms instead of two.
The evaluations themselves are close: both use an 8% static max loss and a 4% daily loss. The differences are in the targets, the payout rules and the funded-stage restrictions. We compare the Blue Guardian 2-Step Standard with the Maven Trading Omo 2-Step (the plan code OMO discounts), both at $50,000.
- Cheaper: Maven Trading, $143 vs $174 for $50K (40% off vs 25% off).
- Easier evaluation: close call. Same 8% static max loss and 4% daily loss; Blue Guardian needs 12% in total (8% + 4%), Maven Trading 14% (6% + 8%).
- Better payouts: Blue Guardian, 85% split with no monthly cap. Maven Trading pays 80%, caps the first two payouts and limits withdrawals to $10,000 per 30 days.

Price: Maven Is About $31 Cheaper
With code OMO, the Maven Trading $50K Omo 2-Step drops from $238 to $143, a 40% discount. With code INSIDE, the Blue Guardian $50K 2-Step Standard drops from $232 to $174. Before discounts the two cost almost the same; the bigger code puts Maven Trading ahead, and it also refunds the fee on your third withdrawal.
Two same-size alternatives are worth knowing. Blue Guardian’s 2-Step Nano costs just $95 (8% | 5% targets, 10% Static max loss, 3% daily loss, 80% split), but it adds a 50% consistency rule and a 2% per-cycle payout cap once funded. Maven Trading’s 2-Step Standard costs $220 (8% | 5%, 8% Static) without the OMO discount.
Rules & Drawdown
Drawdown is identical. Both plans use an 8% static max loss, so your floor stays at $46,000 however high the balance climbs, and both allow a 4% ($2,000) daily loss. Neither has a consistency rule in the evaluation.
Targets favour Blue Guardian overall. Blue Guardian asks for 8% in Phase 1 and only 4% in Phase 2: $6,000 of profit in total. Maven Trading reverses the usual order with 6% first and 8% second: $7,000 in total, with the harder leg coming last. Maven Trading also needs 4 trading days with at least 0.5% profit each and a finish within 180 days.
Scalpers, note: Blue Guardian may flag trades closed in under 2 minutes; funded Maven Trading Omo trades must stay open 150 seconds to count.
Both firms have a 2% funded “safety net” that costs you split. Blue Guardian’s Guardian Shield may auto-close trades once open losses reach 2%; the first hit cuts your split to 50% and the second breaches the account. Maven Trading’s M2 Account Saver closes all trades at a 2% drawdown and drops your split to 50% permanently, with a second hit also a breach. Either way, keep risk per idea well under 2% once funded.
Payouts
Blue Guardian pays 85% every 14 days (weekly with an add-on), with a $100 minimum and a 3% processing fee. The $10,000 payout caps only apply to $200K–$400K accounts, so a $50K trader can withdraw the full profit each cycle.
Maven Trading pays 80% every 10 business days with a $20 minimum, but the Omo 2-Step has caps: the first payout is limited to 6% of the starting balance ($3,000), the second to 8% ($4,000), and you can withdraw at most $10,000 per 30-day cycle across all accounts. Profit above that is voided, and the account resets to its starting balance after each payout. It does offer scaling up to $1M.
