Rules & Drawdown

FundedNext gives you more room. Its Stellar 2-Step uses a 10% static max loss, so your floor stays at $90,000. Maven Trading’s Omo uses an 8% static max loss, a $92,000 floor. Daily loss is 5% ($5,000) at FundedNext vs 4% ($4,000) at Maven Trading. Both floors are static and never trail.

Targets are a split decision. Maven Trading asks for 6% in Phase 1 and 8% in Phase 2, which is unusual: the harder target comes second. FundedNext asks for 8% then 5%. That is 14% in total vs 13%, so neither is clearly easier.

Minimum days and time limits: Maven Trading needs 4 trading days with at least 0.5% profit each within 180 days. FundedNext needs 5 trading days and closes accounts after 60 idle days.

Funded-stage rules are where Maven Trading gets strict. On a funded Omo account, a 2% drawdown triggers the “M2 Account Saver”: all trades are closed and your split drops permanently to 50%, and a second hit breaches the account. Every funded Omo trade must also stay open at least 150 seconds to count. FundedNext’s main funded rules are a 3% risk-at-a-time guideline and its Quick Strike rule (trades closed in under 30 seconds must be under 30% of total profit).

Payouts

Maven Trading pays 80% every 10 business days, with a $20 minimum. The catch on Omo is the caps: your first payout is limited to 6% of the starting balance ($6,000), the second to 8% ($8,000), and across all accounts you can withdraw at most $10,000 per 30-day cycle. Profit above that is voided, and the account resets to its starting balance after each payout.

FundedNext lets you pick a payout style on the Stellar 2-Step: the standard 80% split (first payout after 21 days, then every 14 days), a fast 60% option every 3 profitable days of 1%+, or an on-demand 90% option with a 40% consistency rule and at least 2% profit. A processing fee of up to 3.5% applies, but there is no monthly cap, which matters in big months.

Platforms & Trading Conditions

Maven Trading offers MT5 and Match Trader. FundedNext offers MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match Trader, so MT4 and cTrader users only have one choice here. Leverage on forex is 1:75 at Maven Trading and 1:100 on the FundedNext 2-Step.

Commissions are slightly lower at Maven Trading: $4 per lot round trip on forex and $6 on metals and energy, vs $5 per lot on forex and commodities at FundedNext. Indices are commission-free at both. Neither suits EA traders at $100K: Maven Trading bans EAs, and FundedNext only sells them as an add-on for accounts under $50K.

FundedNext — you want more drawdown room (10% max, 5% daily), use MT4 or cTrader, or expect to withdraw more than $10,000 a month. You pay $512, need an 8% Phase 1, and should avoid trading around high-impact news once funded.
